Installation of Traffic Lights at Dwenase and Sefwi Asawinso

The installation of traffic lights at Sefwi Dwenase and Sefwi Asawinso is an initiative aimed at improving road safety, traffic management, and the protection of motorists and pedestrians across the constituency. Personally sponsored by Hon. Kofi Benteh Afful, Member of Parliament for Sefwi Wiawso, the project follows road safety concerns and recommendations raised by the Police Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) regarding traffic control at both locations. In response, the MP facilitated the procurement of the traffic lights from China. The initiative represents a personal contribution towards addressing an important public safety concern and complementing broader development efforts. Upon completion, the installations are expected to promote orderly traffic flow, enhance pedestrian safety, and help reduce the risk of road accidents. Installation works are ongoing at both locations. Updates will be provided as the project progresses.
